Rehab ReWalk™ – we help patients with spinal cord injuries walk again with the innovative ReWalk system. We are a ReWalk Certified Training Center and our therapists have been trained and certified to provide exercise and physical therapy.

The Armeo Spring – a leading-edge computerized upper extremity exoskeleton exercise device that provides feedback to help patients regain motor control of the upper extremity.

Bioness H200 – a wireless functional stimulation orthosis used for hand rehabilitation that allows the fingers and thumb to move efficiently while reaching, grasping and pinching.

Bioness Interactive Therapy System/Dynavision – this touch-screen technology helps with vision, motor control, balance and speech.

Bioness L300 – an electrical stimulation device system designed to help people with certain neurological conditions walk more naturally, with increased speed and improved balance.

Eccentron Resistance Trainer – Memorial Hospital West Outpatient Rehabilitation Center is the only center in Florida to offer the Eccentron Resistance Trainer, a technologically advanced, leading-edge eccentric resistance strength trainer proven to enhance gains in strength, power and endurance as well as a decrease in falls. It helps patients with cardiopulmonary, cardiovascular, metabolic, musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions.

InMotion Robotics System® – Engineered at the Newman Laboratory for Biomechanics and Human Rehabilitation at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), the InMotion Robotics System is an innovative therapeutic device designed to measure and respond to a patient's movement. The device, primarily used with neurology patients, helps initiate, evaluate and enhance the patient's own movement while giving constant visual and auditory feedback to the brain to enhance overall movement of the arm. The ultimate goal is improved functional return of the elbow and hand.

LiteGait® – a device that is used for walking therapy. Utilizing a harness system, patients are suspended over a treadmill or the ground with their balance and the amount of weight placed on their legs controlled by the device. This allows the therapist to facilitate posture and the movement of their legs so they can begin to help facilitate standing and walking.

The Pilates Clinical Reformer ® – facilitates safe and rapid rehabilitation of orthopedic, neurological and chronic pain conditions.

The Saebo ReJoyce – an upper-extremity rehabilitation workstation designed for orthopedic and neurological patients who exhibit impaired function of the arm and hand. The computerized, task-oriented training system provides standardized upper-limb exercises representing activities of daily living (ADLs) and allows the patient to practice performing prehensile patterns with a goal of regaining functional mobility and strength.

The Shuttle MVP® – helps patients and athletes regain explosive power, using velocity-specific work to develop eccentric strength while reducing their risk of injury.

The SIM II – BTE – a therapeutic equipment device used to simulate real-world job and daily living functions.

The Ther-a-suit® – a full-body dynamic orthotic used to change proprioception and enhance alignment by inhibiting pathological reflexes and restoring normal synergy.

The Universal Exercise Cage – a suspension system (called the “Spider Cage”) using belts and cords and a system of pulleys and suspension devices.

Vector Gait and Safety System – a dynamic body weight support system that facilitates balance training, allowing patients to rehabilitate faster, safer and with more confidence since patients no longer are fearful of falling. Composed of a robotic trolley attached to a track on the ceiling, which is connected to the patient by a cable and harness, the device is used to assist in retraining a patient’s balance, gait and functional activities following a stroke, head injury or illness.

VitalStim® – an FDA-approved technology for the treatment of dysphagia (difficulty swallowing). VitalStim Therapy is a non-invasive, external electrical stimulation therapy that stimulates the muscles used to swallow to help facilitate the return of normal muscle function.

WalkAide® – a revolutionary FDA-approved medical device that utilizes electrical stimulation to improve the walking ability of people suffering from neurologic damage resulting in foot drop. Foot drop is a condition caused by weakness or paralysis of the leg muscles that causes a person to be unable to lift their toes up when walking. Invented by a team of researchers at the University of Alberta, WalkAide uses functional electrical stimulation to restore typical nerve-to-muscle signals in the leg and foot, effectively lifting the foot at the appropriate time. This may allow for faster walking for longer distances with less fatigue and may eliminate the need for braces or orthotics.
