Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and Neuroimmunology
Multiple sclerosis (MS) can be difficult to diagnose if you experience unusual symptoms or if you have a disease with similar warning signs. Today, there is no single, definitive laboratory test to confirm MS. An MS diagnosis can only be made by conducting a comprehensive medical history, a detailed neurological examination, MRI imaging and other tests to exclude other potential causes.
At the Multiple Sclerosis and Neuroimmunology Center, we focus on all aspects of the disease, including:- Diagnosis
- Clinical trials
- Brain imaging
- Laboratory research
Autoimmune Diseases
We also treat and manage autoimmune diseases including:
- Acute disseminated encephalomyelitis (ADEM)
- Autoimmune encephalitis (AE)
- Clinically isolated syndrome (CIS)
- Neuromyelitis optica (NMO) spectrum disorders
- Optic neuritis
- Spasticity
- Transverse myelitis
