Outpatient Treatment (Choices Program)
The Choices Program is an intensive outpatient program for individuals experiencing severe anxiety and mood disorder issues. This highly structured therapeutic program is offered three days a week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday). Group therapy sessions target stress and anxiety management, goal setting and help to enhance an individual’s motivation and commitment to recovery goals. Additional services in the Choices Program include:
- Psychiatric evaluation
- Medication management (as needed)
- Individual and group psychotherapy
- Aftercare services
Inpatient Treatment
Our inpatient program at Memorial Regional Hospital provides psychiatric services to adults from Broward, Miami-Dade and Palm Beach counties to stabilize their symptoms so they can return home as soon as possible. The average length of stay for patients is four days.
Our inpatient program treats mental illnesses including:
- Depression and anxiety disorders
- Dysthymia (neurotic depression)
- Bipolar disorder
- Mania (manic depressive disorder)
- Adjustment disorder
- Impulse control disorder
- Obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD)
- Substance abuse disorder
- Co-occurring disorder (those diagnosed with a mood disorder and substance abuse issue)
