About Me

Dr. Gelenis Domingo is a hematologist-oncologist at Memorial Cancer Institute. She treats patients with a variety of cancers including head, neck and lung.

Dr. Domingo was drawn to the oncology field by the unique relationships that often develop between patients and their doctors, and the ongoing discoveries and opportunity in cancer treatment. She believes every patient has a story and makes it her priority to get to know her patients so she can offer the best guidance and support as they fight the disease.

Dr. Domingo earned her medical degree at the University of South Florida College of Medicine in Tampa, Florida. She completed an internal medicine residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital and a hematology/oncology fellowship at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
