Thanks to their Blood and Marrow Transplant Cellular Therapy Program located at Memorial Hospital West, South Florida patients with blood diseases have access to many vital services—right here in our own community.
In the past, many area patients who were diagnosed with leukemia, lymphoma and multiple myeloma needed to relocate for treatment at distant cancer centers. Patients often had to uproot themselves from families, communities and jobs—their entire support system—at the very time they were most needed.
